Cuban legend trombonist Generoso Jimenez died in Miami on Saturday due to kidney failure. He was 90 years old. In 2003, The Latin Acadamy presented Generoso with a Lifetime Achievement award and he was also known for his workings with another leyend Benny More. More recently he worked with Gloria Estefan on her latest CD, 90 millas, which was officially released today. If you're in Miami, services will take place today at 6 p.m. at Ferdinand Funeral Home, 2546 SW 8th St.
