Celebrity-Favorite LOUIS VERDAD Wowed Audience at the Spring 2008 Collection Debut at Vibiana

Louis Verdad presented his 2008 spring collection at the “HAVE FAITH IN LA” show. The show took place at the Vibiana, located in downtown Los Angeles. Young Hollywood, socialites and trendsetters came out in droves to Vibiana for this important showing of one of Los Angeles’ freshest, most celebrated designers.

“I was thrilled to have an amazing showing that was highly effective across the board. Most importantly, I would like to extend a big thank you to all my friends who came out to support me this evening - our crowd was incredible with a contagious and magnificent energy! Showing my Spring 2008 Collection last night at Vibiana downtown is the next step to shifting LA fashion to the downtown community and a hugely important step in bringing LA designers to the fashion forefront. In attendance were Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa; Bobby Brown, Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, songwriter, and dancer; Daisy Fuentes, Cuban-American model and television presenter; Amber Stevens, lead actress on Greek; Rachel Leigh Cook, actress from She’s All That; Jai Rodriguez, culture expert on Bravo's hit series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy; Shalim Ortiz, one-half of the Fleeing Twins on Heroes; Eduardo Xol, lead designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition; Tarina and Alfonso Tarintino, duo behind Tarina’s namesake jewelry line; Billie Myers, singer of “Kiss the Rain”; and Navi Rawat, actress on Numb3rs, 24, and The O.C.
