BILLBOARD LATIN COVERAGE: Top Names in Latin Music to Champion the Heineken Green Ribbon Initiative

First Ever Heineken Latin Music Memorabilia Silent Auction to Benefit the NALAC Fund for the Arts Heineken Green Ribbon Grant

For years celebrities have proudly worn the Heineken Green Ribbon(R) to show their support of Latin music during the Billboard Latin Music Conference and Awards. This year, not only will celebrities wear the Heineken Green Ribbon as Heineken makes a donation on their behalf to the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) Heineken Green Ribbon Grant, but select artists will also be making their own individual contributions to the cause.

"The Heineken Green Ribbon celebrates the talent, drive and commitment it takes to achieve success as a Hispanic musician in the U.S.", says Marime Riancho, Heineken Senior Brand Director, Multicultural Markets for Heineken USA. "What better way to honor this cause then by auctioning off memorabilia from artists who have been through the journey from dream to success and donating the money raised to support emerging talent along their own journey?"

The Silent Auction will take place April 7th, 8th and 9th during the Billboard Latin Music Conference at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. Bidding will end at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9th. Among the unique memorabilia that will be up for auction are:

- A fitted shirt Chayanne wore during his Sincero tour in 2004
