Debuts Limited-Edition Home Furnishings & Accessories Collection at Target

Salma's little brother Sami Hayek introduces his new line for Target, Sami Hayek(TM) for Target. This exclusive limited-edition collection, including bedding, decorative accessories, furniture and stationery, beginning this May. Designed with the student in mind, the contemporary collection features products from comforters and sheets to photo frames and notebooks in bold colors and designs. Products provide multiple purposes with minimal packaging that is designed to be reused or recycled, making the items both stylish and practical.

Sami Hayek Studio, a young, flexible and multidisciplinary design practice, was established in 2003. Known for blending styles, materials and scales, Hayek's native culture has always been a strong influence and is evident throughout his collection for Target. He has infused the vibrancy of Mexico into his work, where he was exposed to colorful displays everywhere, from the exteriors of people's homes to fruit and vegetables at local farmers markets.

"For me, design is about translating objects into stories and experiences," said Sami Hayek. "My new collection for Target reflects my core design beliefs, which include structure, humor and a commitment to sustainable design."
