Latina teen sensation Selena Gomez, Disney’s hit TV show Wizards of Waverly Place, looks for a career beyond her current employer. She's looking at movies and music on her future agenda. Selena was in the movie Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who, which made $45 million on its opening weekend in March and also starred Jim Carrey and Steve Carell.
She declined being on the third installment of the monster-hit High School Musical, opposite Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens bacause she wants to "serious projects".
‘High School Musical 3’ is cute, and I think it would be a great opportunity for someone else, Selena explains.
Aside from career issues, gossip and controversy also looms around Selena, since current pop queen Miley Cyrus mocked Selena Gomez on YouTube Video. Cyrus did apologize telling PopStar magazine, I mean if we offended (Gomez and Lovato), we’re super sorry, but we were, like, just having fun.
