Placido Domingo, the TV actor???

According to the NY POST, during a live auction at the Princess Grace awards at Cipriani in New York City, Placido Domingo won a walk on role on Law and Order. That's not where it ended when the producer of the TV hit show, Dick Wolf said that instead of a cameo it would be a speaking role. Placido ended up with a $16,000 shot at TV stardome. Among the witnesses at the event included Glen Close, Christopher Walken and model Petra Nemcova.
