9th annual Latin Grammy award were a snooze!

9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in Houston

We don’t understand why Univision would do another award show that looks almost identical to Premio Lo Nuestro.

The 9th annual Latin Grammy awards, transmitted live from Houston, was alot of the same Univision talent and production. Nothing new. Camera's didn't even coordinate with what the presenter was talking about. (ie. Rodner talking about Adriana Fonseca's dress and the camera shot was for Horoscopo de Durango)

The biggest Latin artist in the business for the last few years is Juanes. The
Colombian singer opened the award show with John Mayer and ran away with five Latin Grammy’s. Among them for best album, best male vocal and best song.

Reggaeton’s pint size rapper Miguelito won his first Latin Grammy, we are proud
of him for that accomplishment. Pretty interesting that Miguelito is 9 years old as old as the award’s show itself.

Victor Manuelle, who had the crowd dancing in the aisles during his performance, lost in his category.

Gloria Estefan performed to her full glory, doing some of her greatest hits like Mi Tierra alongside Carlos Santana and Jose Feliciano. This would of been a better finally than the “No More Violence” number with Rosario and others.

Other notable moments was seeing brother Lupillo and sister Jenni Rivera and the duet of Olga Tañon and Vicki Carr.

Let’s see where they’ll have next year’s show. We’re hearing from some Latin Grammy members that the show may return once again to Miami, but also metioned “Puerto Rico has wanted the award show for years...”

We LOVE this hit and the duet with Belinda and Flex. Flex won best Urban song "Te Quiero,".

The talk of the night was that Barbara Bermudes is 2 months pregnant and that's why she had her super fast wedding and singer Jeremia, who was apparantly dating Genesis Rodriguez, got dumped. Genesis, according to Miami radio show Zona Cero with Javier Ceriani, has moved in with the almost divorced Christian Meier. Nice...
