MTV Tr3s Announces New Slate Packed With Comedy and Music

MTV Tr3s has announced two new and one recurring series ready to satisfy viewers' appetite for entretenimiento, comedia y musica. The shows, "ReMexa" and "Casados Con Hijos," will air daily and "Rock Dinner" will air every Monday, with all the shows tailored to MTV Tr3s' growing Hispanic youth audience.

"MTV Tr3s is a brand that prides itself on reflecting its audience and being a place where our viewers feel at home," says Lily Neumeyer, Vice President of Programming and Production. "The new line-up offers a dose of what we need right now: comfort food, a good laugh and your favorite music genre to dance your worries away to."

"ReMexa" brings the sights and cultural sounds of Los Angeles to audiences like never before. Hosted by Fonovisa Records artist, Jazmin Lopez, the series showcases Regional Mexican Music -- the #1 selling Latino music genre in the US, bringing some of the hottest talent in the Banda, Ranchera, Duranguense and Norteno scene right to the doorstep of its fans. Filled with celebrity interviews and exclusive performances, Jazmin keeps viewers up-to-date with the latest chismes and events regarding el genero Regional Mexicano around the country.

Adapted from the infamous eighties sitcom "Married ... with Children," "Casados Con Hijos" -- an acquisition from Sony Pictures Television -- is a black comedy about the Rochas, a typical middle-class Colombian family. Married for 16 years, Paco, a shoe salesman, and Lola, a housewife, might have grown tired of one another, but they still have a love for throwing insults. Two teenage kids and a dog complete this dysfunctional but entertaining familia.

MTV Tr3s is currently seen in 7 million Hispanic TV households and 37 million total TV households. The network targets Latino youth, providing them a home for entertainment, music and a place to celebrate their culture.
