February 11: Telemundo to Announce Finalist for 2010 Billboard Latin Music Award



Telemundo will announce the list of finalists for the 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm during a special telecast of its morning show, “Levántate” on Thursday, February 11 at 7AM -10 AM/ET. The 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm will take place on April 29, 2010 and will be produced and broadcast LIVE on HD by Telemundo from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The special broadcast of “Levántate” will feature some of the hottest music stars atdifferent locations across the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Espinoza Paz from Universal City Walk in Los Angeles; Patrulla 81 from Mexico City; Willy Colon from Times Square in New York; Luis Fonsi and Luis Enrique from Miami; and Kany Garciaand Grupomania at the “Levántate” studios in San Juan, will join the show’s hosts, Alan Tacher, Rashel Diaz and Idaly Ferrá in the important announcement.

The 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm marks the first time that the critically acclaimed awards show leaves its Miami base. The Billboard Latin Music Awards honors the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by sales and radio airplay data that informs Billboard's weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 7, 2009 through this year's January 30, 2010 issue.
