Univision Announces Star-Studded Line Up for 22nd Edition of 'Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina' Awards




International Superstar Chayanne, Recipient of this Year's Artistic Excellence Award, Multi-Platinum Recording Artist Alejandro Fernández, Recipient of the Special Career Achievement Award, and Award-Winning Singer/Actress Thalía Recipient of the "Young Artist Legacy Award" to be Joined By Arcángel, Banda el Recodo, Cristian Castro, Daddy Yankee, David Bisbal, Eddy Herrera, El Chapo de Sinaloa, Espinoza Paz, Germán Montero, Héctor "El Torito" Acosta, Jenni Rivera, Jorge Celedón & Jimmy Zambrano, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón, Luis Enrique, Luis Fonsi, Luz Ríos, Melina León, Paquita la del Barrio, Pee Wee, Tati and Tito "El Bambino".

Highly Anticipated Awards Gala to Be Broadcast in High Definition (HD) for the First Time Ever.



Univision announced the star-studded lineup for the 22nd edition of "Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina," television's longest-running and top-rated Latin music awards show. The gala event will be broadcast live and, for the first time ever, in high definition (HD) from Miami's American Airlines Arena on Thursday, February 18, 2010 beginning at 8pm ET/PT (7pm Central) on the Univision Network. The awards gala will be preceded by a glamorous red carpet arrivals pre-show starting at 7pm ET/PT (6pm Central).

Building on its tradition of celebrating the very best in Latin music, "Premio Lo Nuestro(SM) 2010" will feature show-stopping performances by some of Latin music's most popular artists including such "Premio Lo Nuestro 2010" nominees as reggaetón superstar Daddy Yankee ("Artist of the Year," Urban Genre), pop star Cristian Castro ("Album of the Year" and "Male Artist of the Year," Pop Genre), regional Mexican music diva Jenni Rivera ("Female Artist of the Year," Regional Mexican Genre) , pop sensation David Bisbal ("Song of the Year," Pop Genre, "Video of the Year" and "Collaboration of the Year"), banda music group Banda el Recodo ("Album of the Year," "Group or Duo of the Year," "Banda Artist of the Year," Regional Mexican Genre), Mexican singer Espinoza Paz ("Male Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Banda Artist of the Year," Regional Mexican Genre), salsa singer Luis Enrique ("Album of the Year," "Male Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Tropical Salsa Artist of the Year," Tropical Genre), regional Mexican music artist Paquita la del Barrio ("Female Artist of the Year," Regional Mexican Genre), reggaetón artist, Tito "El Bambino"("Album of the Year," "Artist of the Year," "Song of the Year," Urban Genre) and pop artist Pee Wee ("Video of the Year").



The international superstar Chayanne and multi-platinum recording artist Alejandro Fernández will not only take the stage to perform on this night, but will also be the recipients of two very special awards for their Artistic Excellence and Career Achievement, respectively. In addition, the award-winning singer and actress, Thalía will be this year's recipient of the "Young Artist Legacy Award" and will also perform a medley of her hits.

Rounding-up the roster of superstars are Mexican artist Ana Bárbara and salsa music sensation Víctor Manuelle who will host "Premio Lo Nuestro 2010."
