Flex Wins BIG with Eight Billboard Latin Music Awards

Panamenian DJ and singer Flex, took home eight Billboard Latin music awards including hot Latin song of the year, Latin ringmaster of the year and hot Latin song of the year, male.
Enrique Iglesias who received six awards, accepted his trophies from Russia where he also performed live via satellite for the show. A great night of music at the 2009 edition of the Billboard Latin Music Awards which took place at the BankUnited Center in Miami.

The live telecast on the Telemundo network featured performances by Wisin & Yandel, Paulina Rubio, Akon, Don Omar and Maná with special awards to Carlos Santana and Daddy Yankee.

Don Omar received a series of publishing awards from BMI plus a question and answer session with media and conference antendees. He spoke about his acting young acting career and his recent appearance with fellow rapper Tego Calderon in the movie hit Fast and Furious. Backstage he signed recent copies of his cover feature in music bible Billboard magazine.
