You just have to love someone that brings their grandmother to work with them. Eva Mendes made a whirlwind trip to Miami to promote her new VIDA Home Decor at MACY'S Dadeland and Aventura malls. Yes two malls!!! Eva brought her very proud 82 year old grandmother Caridad Suarez to her events.

"Most of you don't know this, but I was born in Miami...I even brought my grandmother with me today".

. Ahhh how sweet.

Eva Meandes--3rd time on the cover of Latina magazine

We reported this week that Cuban-American Eva Meandes called our Cuban-American photog an "Axxhole" for no reason since he was just taking a photo. In the meantime, she's been grossly paraded through the NY talk show circuit, appearing in David Letterman, Conan, Regis and Kelly. We could also catch her on her third cover in the November issue of Latina magazine. We hope she doesn't glamourize her sex scene with Joaquin Phoenix, which might be the most exciting part of the movie and takes place in the first 10 minutes. Check out her past covers. BEWARE: Eva Mendes the rudest Latina celebrity in Hollywood

At Hollywood Latino we're proud to hear of the successes of Latin celebrity making it big in Hollywood, but we get sick to our stomachs when we hear stories like this. After writing an uplifting item about Eva Mendes of how we like her, we got word that she was leaving Miami on her way to New York and decided to get our contacts ready at the airport to get a photo. Earlier today we got word from a fan, that she's super nice, so we expected the same treatment. Not the case, our photographer asked her "Eva can we get a nice photo (pose)" and her reply was "I don't think so...thank youuuu!" Our celeb snapper decided to take her photo anyways through the airport. Eva even calling our celeb snapper an axxhole...classy Eva classy....After she went through security, many passengers ask our well known photog, "Who was that? Is she famous?" our photog told them it was Eva Mendes where the passenger fan said " Oh yes, I know she is, she's on Desperate Housewives". Ha....sorry wrong Eva.

Eva Mendes, NOT PREGNANT!!! Just Loves Pasta and Desserts

Our beautiful Cuban-American Eva Mendes who is in Miami for a press junket for her new movie WE OWN THE NIGHT, says "I'm not pregnant, I just love pasta and desserts". Eva heads to New York this afternoon, for the premeire of the movie and says about her personal life "For now I don't want to have kids, nor get married...I loves kids, but I love to sleep too much." Sleep, eat and not working out... seems a bit lazy lifestlye, doesn't it? Not for Eva, she has another movie coming out in 2007 called CLEANER, in 2008 THE WOMEN with a major cast that includes Meg Ryan, Jada Pinkett Smith, Annette Bening, Carrie Fisher, Bette Midler, Candice Bergen, and Debra Messing. For 2009, she's in pre-production for THE SPIRIT with Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson. You busy girl, you have no time for marriage, kids...sleep honey!
