RBD says ADIOS!! After farewell tour of course...

Cher has had at least 4 retirement tours, NSync retired, Mageneto retired, New Kids on the Block, and even Menudo. Well maybe not true with Menudo, but they're an unusual species. We have been reporting for months that RBD was being dismantled due to ego's and solo career projects. RBD is becoming small for some of the members of the group, that just want to grow up. They had the cat fight drama, the gay drama, the one member leaving the group drama, the retirement announcement, and now the farewell tour. Is this part of being in a pop group cycle of life and publicity stunt? This announcement of a farewell tour hopefully will get more fans to the concert than when the group was on top of the scene. They really milked their 15 long minutes of fame and time to move on. RBD got famous, Televisa made a lot of money of these kids, and in the end they have to quit. They should of just faded into eternity y punto.

Despite 5 out the 6 members showing up for the 2008 Billboard Latin awards, the group looked tired and overworked. Maite from the group did even show up, the band did not perform and right after the show, only 3 members did post media interview, while Christian and Anahi were no where in sight. Could this be the end of RBD??? You decide

For the first time, RBD gets kicked out of radio station

RBD, the hot teen group that releases its new CD on November 20 Celestial, made a visit to Univision radio LA KALLE morning show yesterday. DJ's Enrique Santos and Joe Ferrer went after RBD group member Christian and attacked jokingly about his coming out as gay and his marijuana arrest in NY. Christian, not only got upset and left the studio, but went next door to the station kitchen and shot a bird through a video camera to the DJ's. That upset DJ Enrique Santos, and he kicked the platinum selling group out. Hear the interview as seen on Escandalo TV.

Save the Date--NOVEMBER 20th--NEW RBD CD

After selling 7 million copies of CELESTIAL, RBD just finished there next CD EMPEZAR DESDE CERO (Starting from Zero) with the release date November 20th. The group continues to tour, while the new single INALCANSABLE is on rotation in Mexico and US radio.

Speaking of cookie cutter acts, RBD has been getting a scene of bad press from tabloid shows saying the group has been losing its holsum image because of Christian, who recently came out and said he was gay and was arrested in May for having a few joints in his pocket. RBD loves press. This is the only thing that keeps them going . RBD’s people keep blogs, and fan clubs posted of where they’re going and gives out pretty precise information to create the hype. There is no reason for Christian to leave the group and we’re sure he’s still smoking it up...and the others in the group probably don't inhale. Sure...
