Lili Estefan is a mom of two, co-host of Univision’s “El Gordo y La Flaca” and now a two-time Hispanic milk mustache celebrity.
Estefan decided to join the Hispanic got milk? campaign once again in hopes of helping reinforce the on-going efforts of the nationwide initiative organized by the Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP), which promotes the consumption of chocolate milk amongst kids this Halloween as an alternative to candy, given the calcium deficiency amongst kids and adolescents. “I love chocolate milk and I wanted to remind Hispanic moms that it is a great choice for their families at Halloween and throughout the year. Chocolate milk has the same nutrients as white milk and kids really love it,” explained Estefan. “So if they don’t want white milk, then offer them chocolate milk. We all want to teach our kids good eating habits and sometimes we forget that low-fat chocolate milk is a great option. Halloween celebrations are a great time to give kids a delicious and nutritious beverage that they already love,” she added.
