Winsin y Yandel To Tour This Summer

Winsin y Yandel, as per fan request, are off to another summer tour, this time visiting cities not necessarily predominately Latino.

The superstar reggaeton duo, will continue their "La Revolución" tour visting cities like Hammond, Indiana, and Minneapolis, Minnisota.

Celebrities helping Haiti

We know Haiti is in major destruction, possibly 150,000 dead and celebrities coming to the rescue. George Clooney has a telethon this Saturday on VH-1 with Haitian star Wycliff Jean, who's been defending his YELE foundation.

Latino celebs also helping.  This morning a bunch of celebrities arriving in Haiti starting with Don Francisco, who will be taping segments for his star studded telethon on Saturday night on the Univision network.  Don Omar and Vin Diesel also arrive with a plane full of water, baby formula, and other needed items.  Ricky Martin arrived yesterday and through an association with his foundation and Habitat for Humanity, will help in the rebuilding of houses destroyed in the earthquake.

Reggaeton duo Winsin Yandel are donating $100,000, Luis Miguel donated $30,000, and Julio Iglesias also donated a splendid donation in private.  Don Omar also has a goal of raising $1,000,000 for rebuilding Haitian orphanages in 2010.

Winsin y Yandel teams up In Da Club with 50 Cent

Just when you think reggaeton is dead the collaborations are coming with mainstream rap stars. Daddy Yankee already tried it with Snoop Dogg, now Winsin y Yandel team up with 50 cent to shoot the video for Mujeres in da club. 50 cent has already recorded Asi Soy with the duo, but didn't get the play it deserved. And despite all the speculation that Calle 13 is doing a collab with Eminem... Fuggetaboutit. Not happening. Well, at least not yet!

Wisin and Yandel Concert Sets Attendance Record

Reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel set an attendance record at SBS radio station Latino 96.3 FM, and AEG Worldwide concert on Friday, May 30 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

"We are delighted and proud to have brought together SBS Entertainment, Latino 96.3 FM and AEG Worldwide for such a successful, record breaking event," said Oscar Llord, Managing Director of the Division of Talents and Entertainment for SBS Entertainment.
