A well deserved tribute to Jose Jose!

"As his Godmother in his career, I changed his name from Pepe Pepe to Jose Jose", legendary Cuban bolero queen Olga Guillot has always said about Jose Jose. Despite his many health issues and past drug abuse, the Latin Grammy's honored Jose Jose last night at the Bank United in Coral Gables. The show was recorded for a telecast in November. Among the celebrity friends that were present: Cristian Castro, who was the only celebrity not to come to the press room, Marco Antonio Solis, Ana Barbara, Cruz Martinez and Los Super Reyes (many ex MDO members), Alicia Villareal, Fonsi, Santa Rosa, Victor, and blah, blah, Zzzzzz.

Jose Jose....a living legend!!!

Poor Jose Jose last night on Don Francisco presenta. He looked horrible. This living legend has gone through alot, and we don't mean the grueling interview that Don Fran did. Here are some highlights:
-Jose Jose said that everything he has done, his career, has been for his family
-That his ex-wife has been instigating the family feuds between him and his kids and that she is just jealous that his current wife Sarita is an excellent woman.
-That he hasn't been able to get operated for his voice because other health issues, including Diabetes.
-That his oldest son Jose said that his father is an amazing legend and singer, but a horrible father.
-Jose Jose responded with saying, "I've done everything in my career so my family lives well. I owe myself to the public, so my family could enjoy a great life."
We really wish he does get better. It was sad to see him like this. We have had the honor of meeting Jose Jose and all we could say is that he is a perfect gentlemen. We love you Jose!!!!
