Univision's Sabado Gigante to Offer Viewers New Revamp Site and Interactive features

Univision is revamping Sábado Gigante. On average, the show delivers 2.4 million Viewers 2+ and 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and reaches more than five million viewers each week. The longest-running weekly TV variety show in the world is now more GIGANTIC than ever, featuring a fresh, new, completely redesigned state-of-the-art set that comes to life with new digital features that offer viewers greater excitement, bigger prizes and more opportunities to participate.

We’ve always made the studio audience an integral part of ‘Sábado Gigante.’ Now, with all new technology, we can finally bring the viewers at home into the excitement as well, said Mario Kreutzberger (Don Francisco), “Sábado Gigante’s” host, founder and creator. Among the new interactive and revamp features include:
•A completely redesigned state-of-the-art set

•Univision.com is revamping the “Sábado Gigante” microsite, which will include unprecedented levels of fan engagement to both, the site and the show, video clips from each episode, behind-the-scenes extras, exclusive interviews with the “Artist of the Week.” and access to fully-loaded bios from the “Sábado” models and will be able submit show ideas on the “Usted lo Pidió” (You Asked for It) section

•Digital upgrades of its wide variety of games, interactive opportunities to play and win from home (via phone, mobile or online)

•Enhanced in-studio electronic interaction system for increased audience participation in voting and volunteering for comedy skits and other features.
