2009 Premios Lo Nuestro...better!!

Univisions Premio Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina - Arrivals
We enjoyed this year's Premio Lo Nuestro, broadcast live from the Bank United Center in Coral Gables. Despite her dress on the red carpet, the tribute to Alejandra Guzman was a well-deserved honor of an excellent music career. The Fanny Lu performance showed her maturity into stardum. It was nice that Wilmer Valderama was part of it. Cant believe Gloria Trevi cut her hair. Not the image we're accustomed too, but enjoyed her style.
Univisions Premio Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina - Arrivals
Eugenio Derdez was funny in his hosting duties and despite being beautiful, Ninel Conde should stick to her music and acting career, instead of being a co-host. President Barack Obama, made a taped appearance to the applaus of the public, and it seemed strange that Elvis Crespo didn't even poke fun at his airplane incident and make it straight. The story that is...
Emmanuel received a well deserved award and maybe this could be a springboard for a tour. Big winners of the night Juanes, Aventura, and Jenni Rivera we're no surprise.

JUST IN: Layoffs at Univision

We've been getting many phone calls in reference to Univision staff getting pink slips at the network today. Among the famous face, we hear is getting the ax....Despierta America's Fernando Arau. Could it be??? Also at Univision radio they got rid of radio hot shot Omar Moynello.

UPDATE: We are hearing that another round of layoffs are coming this week at the network, including possible pink slips to the network's top tier earners. Could it be Jorge Ramos that makes $1 million a year or maybe Enrique Gratas? It's serious...stay tuned!

Look who's getting married at Primer Impacto

During the weekend at the baby shower for Karla Martinez, co-host of Despierta America, Barbara Bermudo confessed to friends that she's finally tying the knot with long time boyfriend Mario Andres Moreno.

"It's in the works" the presenter of Primer Impacto Barbara Bermudos tellsEscandalo TV, "Its time to get married, but we don't have a date yet".

We wish her luck, because the track of former and current presenters of Primer Impacto the wedding topic hasn't been that great for Myrka, Fernando, Maria Celeste, and Carmen Dominicci.

The Curse of Primer Impacto?

What is it with the women of Primer Impacto with getting abused by men. Carmen Dominicci not only had her rounds with husband one Oswaldo Rios, but also with fellow husband and Primer Impacto anchor Fernando del Rincon.. Now lovely Myrka Dellanos, who seemed to be in love with 27 year old Ulysses Alonso in the August edition of People en Español, now faces the reality of another divorce. Ulysses Alonso was arrested by Pinecrest police for assault and battery. A court hearing is set for September 15th in Miami. What a shame.

People en Español tells the truth about Carmen Dominicci's violent seperation to Fernando del Rincon

Latin radio's shock jock, Javier Ceriani broke the story of the violent separation of Univision's Carmen Dominicci and Fernando del Rincon over the last year gets a backup to his insights. In the latest issue of People En Español on newstands on Monday, the magazine investigates. Also The Best and Worst dress issue.

BEST ON THE LIST: Sofia Vergara, Kate del Castillo, Daisy Fuentes, Lucero, America Ferrera, and RBD's Mayte, Anahi, and Dulce Maria. Ivy Queen got recognized as Best improvement, and yes we agree to that.

WORST ON THE LIST: Niurka Marcos, Alejandra Guzman and Javier Ceriani (Well we added the last one). The magazine added Britney Spears, which we don't understand why add her to a Latin magazine.

Men on the list for Best dressed included Daddy Yankee, Javier Bardem, and Winsin y Yandel. That's a change for the reggaeton stars that usually have horrible wardrobe.
