FOR A GREAT CAUSE: Jennifer Lopez and March of Dimes in Miami

Our dear Jennifer Lopez rise and shined today as the 2009 National Honorary Chair to help kick off the March of Dime's "March for Babies". The event brought out over 8,000 participants for the 4-mile beach walk on Key Biscayne, FL.

Her goal: to make awareness of a serious threat to the health of babies —pertussis, more commonly known as whooping cough, through her role as spokesperson for The Sounds of Pertussis Campaign.
