FAMILY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES: The Perfect Game in theaters this April 16th

A great family movie and just in time for baseball season, The Perfect Game, is out in theaters on April 16th. Based on a true story, a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico who become the first non-U.S. team to win the Little League World Series.

In 1957 a rag-tag, shoeless, poor group of kids from Monterrey, Mexico shocked the world by winning 13 games in a row and the Little League World Series in the only perfect game ever pitched in the Championship. These kids, led by their priest and a down-and-out former major leaguer embark on a journey through the southern US and up into Williamsport, PA for the Championship game. They encountered many adversities including nearly being deported and the bigotry that wouldn't allow them into certain restaurants or travel on certain buses. They never lost their faith and eventually captured the hearts of both nations. This is a heart-warming inspirational story in the tradition of "Rudy", "Hoosiers", "Coach Carter" or "Friday Night Lights". Written by John Bradly.

Clifton Collins Jr., Cheech Marin, Moises Arias, Carlos Gomez, Patricia Manterola and others in the Latino cast, for the most part.

AROD STRIKES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yankee slugger was able to break Micky Mantle's home run record, but struck out with his marriage with Cynthia Rigriguez. So many rumors that Lenny Kravitz is involved with AROD's wife and that Madonna is involved with Alex Rodriguez. We believe it's just a messy divorce that is clinging on to the pop stars names.

'There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself,' Lenny tells US magazine, `It is unequivocally 100 percent not true. Cynthia is a friend and is [in Paris] with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex's trainer, his wife and their baby girl. She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and it's extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.''

Meanwhile Madonna released a statement saying
I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.

AROD has a 10 year contract worth $275 million. The couple has a $12 home in Coral Gables, FL and have 2 daughters, Natasha, 3, and Ella, who is 3 months old.
Last year Alex Rodriguez was seen leaving a Toronto strip club, which made headlines everywhere. This morning Cynthia and her lawyers filed for divorce in Miami-Dade County Courts.
In Court papers Cynthia is asking for:
-shared parental responsibility

-wife to be best guardian for the children

-wants the house and the AROD continues to maintain it

-alimony for wife and children

-standard of living clause that keeps Cynthia and kids in a lavish lifestyle

-equitable distribution of assets acquired during the marriage

-medical and life insurance

-luxury automobile for Cynthia

- any debt including attorney fees

Former baseball hero, now turned sports gossip author Jose Canseco calls out Yankee player Alex Rodriguez in his new book Vindicated: Big Names, Big Liars, and The Battle to Save Baseball. Canseco claims that he "introduced Alex to a known supplier of steroids" and that AROD was "trying to sleep with his (Canseco's) wife." Today in Florida at Yankee Spring Training season, AROD just said, "I really, absolutely, have no reaction," about the claim relating to the steroids distributor.
"I really, absolutely, have no reaction," Rodriguez said Tuesday when asked about the claim relating to the steroids distributor. As far as the allegation regarding Canseco's wife, Rodriguez responded, "I don't know how to answer that." READ MORE
