LATIN GRAMMY® awards nominations announced today in Miami

LATIN GRAMMY® awards nominations were announced this morning at Mansion nightclub on Miami Beach. Every presenter at this morning's ceremony was nominated one way or the other. The Rabanes who we haven't heard from in a while as well as Suavemente singer Elvis Crespo were nominated. Same circle of artist from last year were nominated including Daddy Yankee, Calle 13, rock band Kinky, newcomer Fanny Who's song No Te Pido Flores was also nominated. Love that song and to be fair, Fanny Lu has great promise. Mediocre singer Pablo Montero, Orishas, Mana, Juan Luis Guerra and so on and so on all are up for the coveted horn. Biggest surprise after being denied the recognition he deserves, Cuban exile superstar Willy Chirino gets nominated again for 35 Aniversario--En Vivo meanwhile another exile great Albita Rodriguez gets a nod for Live at the Colony Theater for Best Contemporary Tropical Album. Ricky Martin gets nominated for his MTV Unplugged. LATIN GRAMMY® awards will be held November 8, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Live on Univision, of course.
