Last night Puerto Rico took out all of its bells and whistle for the
2010 Billboard Latin awards including the first appearance since his disclosure,
Ricky Martin welcomed everyone to his homeland.
Among the big winners
Aventura won nine awards,
Tito El Bambino with seven,
Luis Fonsi with four and
Wisin and Yandel with three.
Marc Anthony received the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award for his philanthropic efforts. La
JLO didn't make to Puerto Rico since she is on promotion mode in Europe with her latest movie
The Back Up Plan.

We weren't crazy on the red carpet tv production as the lighting was horrible. What was more horrible was a full tattooed
AB Quintanilla, who showed up in ripped jeans, and a hoodie. He should of had a little more respect for Latin music most prestigioust award ceremony.
Despite some critics on TV, we loved
Paulina Rubio, not only with her duet with
Wycliff Jean, but for wearing her mother's black, vintage, Chanel dress.
We enjoyed the musical content of the show including the performances by
Pitbull in his black tux, which he liked better than his red carpet selection of a pink shirt, jeans and white jacket. Come on people, this is Latin music's biggest night and not the Teen Choice awards.
Classic performances by the greats like
Marco Antonio Solis, whose had the same hair for the last 20 years,
Juan Luis Guerra just amazing,
Gilberto Santa Rosa, a classic salsero, and
Chayanne surrounded by beautiful dancers, just like he likes it.
Tito El Bambino has had an amazing year. He won seven awards last night, including hot Latin song male artist of the year and for his hit single
"El Amor", hot Latin song and Latin digital download of the year.
