Celebrity friends come out in support of Ricky Martin

Eva Longoria: You are inspiring and beautiful, te quiero mucho!

Dale besos a tus bebeeeeees

In anycase it's America and the guy knows what he wants, does what he wants, even endorsing politician to moderating debates. Now he launches the money making business of fragrances. And why not Diddy, Aguilera, Beyonce, and even Enrique Iglesias has people smellin'.
DY is on a promotional tour which includes New York, Orlando, Chicago, San Juan, Los Angeles, and Miami. HL caught up with him in Miami at the Macy's at the International mall.

Daddy Yankee to perform at the Republican National Convention

Daddy Yankee is taking his Gasolina on the road to the Republican National Convention. The Hispanic Leadership Fund announced that El Cangri will be headlining their Fiesta Americana concert in St. Paul, MN. Meanwhile rapper Fat Joe is disgusted about Yankee's support of the Republicans saying "he’s (Daddy) just not educated on politics.” Really? Since when is Fat Joe an expert in politics. This is hilarious to say the least.

CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENTS FOR PRESIDENT

The Democratic convention is done and this Monday the Republican week begins and we want to know what's important...Let's get the celebrity endorsements! Oprah, DiCaprio, and Ben Affleck for Obama and Sly Stallone, Clint Eastwood and Arnold Schwarzenegger are for military veteran John McCain. Even Latino stars are getting in the action Don Omar for Obama and El Cangri for McCain, Jessica Alba for Obama and Erik Estrada for McCain. What is really the purpose for celebrities to get involved in politics? Does this hurt a celebrities' fan base? Whatever the case, we see celebrity endorsements as a way to feel knowledgeable of current issues and of course to get free publicity. While many celebrities are enjoying summers in St. Tropez, flying around in private planes, and hanging out in ridiculous huge trailers on movie sets, we'll see more celebrity endorsements for politicians and green initiatives.

Daddy Yankee endorses John McCain for President

Daddy Yankee endorses John McCain for president as they both appeared at a rally at Phoenix’s Central High School in Arizona.
Daddy Yankee met McCain at a reception honoring Time Magazine’s most influential people, which both made the list.
Senator McCain is a fighter for the Hispanic community, Daddy Yankee said. When a NY Times reporter asked Daddy Yankee what “Gasolina” really means, the star smiled and said, Energy independence. Good answer!! We guess the support is good eventhough Daddy Yankee can't vote since he was born in Puerto Rico.
