Celebrity friends come out in support of Ricky Martin

Eva Longoria: You are inspiring and beautiful, te quiero mucho!

Dale besos a tus bebeeeeees

Amazing Performances at the 51st Grammy Awards

51st Annual Grammy Awards - Press Room

Despite the alleged rumors of Chris Brown and Rhianna incident, the 51st Grammy awards took place at the Staple Center last night and we have to say the performances were amazing. The performances of putting the greats from the past and today's real stars like NE-YO, Jamie Foxx and Justin Timberlake and pairing them with Smokey Robinson, BB King and Stevie Wonder is just amazing. Those performances didn't stop there as Paul McCartney, took the stage as well as Neil Diamond.

51st Annual Grammy Awards - Backstage & Audience

Kanye West, despite his sometimes eratic behavior, performed like a superstar. Lil Wayne, who won for best rap song, we enjoy his music, but his stage performance lacks tremendously. Our favorite performance was definately Cold Play, who we thought should of won Best Album of the Year.

For the main telecast, we were a bit disappointed that no Latino's were part of it. We know we have the Latin Grammy's, but our presence should of been included, since Latino's buy a lot of music. Check out some of the Latino winners below:

Best Latin Pop Album: "La Vida...Es Un Ratico," Juanes
Best Latin Rock Or Alternative Album: "45," Jaguares
Best Latin Urban Album: "Los Extraterrestres," Wisin y Yandel
Best Tropical Latin Album: "Senor Bachata," Jose Feliciano
Best Regional Mexican Album: "Amor, Dolor Y Lagrimas: Musica Ranchera," Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano; "Canciones De Amor," Mariachi Divas
Best Tejano Album: "Viva La Revolucion," Ruben Ramos & The Mexican Revolution
Best Norteno Album: "Raices," Los Tigres Del Norte
Best Banda Album: "No Es De Madera," Joan Sebastian
Best Latin Jazz Album: "Song For Chico," Arturo O'Farrill & TheAfro-Latin Jazz Orchestra
Best Musical Show Album: "In The Heights," Kurt Deutsch, Alex Lacamoire, Andres Levin, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Joel Moss & Bill Sherman, producers; Lin-Manuel Miranda, composer/lyricist (Original Broadway Cast With Lin-Manuel Miranda And Others)

New network V-ME launches with "Estudios Billboard"

Produced in Miami and recorded in high-definition at Blue Dolplin studios before an intimate live audience, Estudios Billboard debut on V-me TV network. The show is a special music and interview series developed in collaboration with Billboard Magazine and hosted by Leila Cobo, executive director for Latin Content and Programming at Billboard.
Producer's want to make this a Latiin version of "Inside the Actor's Studio", but with music personalities. The show's host tells the Miami Herald that this show will be a break with the conventional entertainment coverage of red carpets, and gossip items of there personal lives. Meanwhile the show's first blushing guest, Juanes was asked "What's your perfect romantic moment?"
Juanes response "Guitar, wine, love, sex, stars..." Great answer Juanes. Watch this show to ask many personal questions, bacause I don't think a full hour to talk just about music is going to happen.
V-me is presented locally by public TV stations in many cities as a digital broadcast and on basic cable; and nationally on DISH Network Ch 9414 and DISHLatino Ch 846.

Juanes...u da man!!!

In a culture of lip-syncing, cookie-cutter acts, and empty concert venues, this is one thing we can’t say about Juanes. The guy writes and produces his own music, he headlines his concert with no opening acts, and has no pyro and smoke machines, Juanes just comes out and performs and his concerts are sold out. That’s a true artist and musician.
Check out Juanes new video, Me Enamora!

Becoming a superstar....

While on a recent trip to Italy Colombian singer Juanes travelled with his manager, musicians, equipment, stage, and paid fans. Yes it's not a typo, paid fans, a whole bus full of them. According to radio personality Javier Ceriani and his Zona Cero radio show this morning in Miami, it reported that like past celebrities Julio Iglesias, NSYNC, and other artist pay fans to stand outside nightclubs, wait for them at airports, outside hotels and restaurants to create the hype...Need a job??
